WHERE TO STAY - MORE IDEAS...

If you can't see anything on this blog that seems like the perfect place to rest your head - just contact us! From the delightful country manor Molland House (above) to the self-catering studios at Sandwich's Fisherman's Wharf to the Holiday Inn Express at Minster (under £50 a night!!) we have tons more ideas and are happy to help you find a place to stay.

WHERE TO STAY - THE CHARITY INN

A short hop from Sandwich, in the nearby village of Woodnesborough (which actually happens to be closer to Goodnestone), is The Charity Inn. Another quaint little village pub, the guest rooms here have been recently spruced so you can enjoy an old fashioned pint and a room with all mod cons!

Prices start from £75 for bed and breakfast (there are single, double and family rooms available), and each thoroughly modern bedroom has free broadband, a flat screen TV and tea and coffee essentials.

To book, click here or call +44 (0)1304 613189.

WHERE TO STAY - THE KINGS ARMS

The Kings Arms, a traditional English inn, circa 1850, has a special place in the Tomczak's heart - it's where Jurek (aka Papa T) and Lin held their wedding reception six years ago! Also nestled in Sandwich, a stone's throw from The Bell Hotel, it's a charming old pub downstairs - think exposed bricks and beams, friendly bar staff, real ale - which also happens to have accommodation upstairs.

Bed and breakfast starts from £85 for a double (less for a single!). The six ensuite rooms (single, double or twin) are comfortable and characterful, all with TVs, telephones, tea and coffee and pretty views.

WHERE TO STAY - THE BELL HOTEL

This is the hotel of choice for the wedding party (and hopefully you too!). Perched on the bank of the River Stour, in Sandwich, The Bell Hotel has been welcoming guests since Tudor times - although the main building is mostly 19th century. It is now lovingly renovated, suitably charming, sunny and just a little bit luxe. The hotel has 37 ensuite bedrooms (from singles to river-view suites), two bars, a dining room and a Regency ballroom (bliss!).

Rooms start from £120 for bed and breakfast and all have super-comfy beds, posh beauty products, digital radios, TVs and WiFi access.

Use this link to book online, or call to make a reservation: +44 (0) 1304 61 33 88. Use the code TOM2105 to ensure you are able to book a one-night stay. Unfortunately we don't have rooms reserved as this is such a desirable spot, so book early to avoid disappointment!
